I grew up with nature around me, on a small island in the south of Norway.

Stone, trees and water give me the inspiration to explore the elemental energy of clay. For me, every soft lump is just waiting to be shaped into organic forms of handmade ceramic art.

It was the three-dimensional quality of clay which led me to study art & sculpture  in 1993. As a ceramic artist I have ever since been captivated by the joy of creating custom made pottery. In my work I strive to combine decorative beauty with functional simplicity.

It gives me the greatest amount of pleasure knowing that you will enjoy my handmade pottery. That art is added to your home and daily rituals are elevated to new heights. You will surely feel the love and attention I put in each piece.
